The structure at 101 College Ave suffered a roof collapse from neglect that was forcing exterior masonry walls to stress toward failure. The building was in the downtown Hogansville commercial sector and was connected to an adjacent structure not owned by our client. Portions of the structure had to be hand removed from boom lifts to allow for us to install shoring to access the asbestos that was present in the building. The coordination with our civil engineers and the City of Hogansville was extensive. The wrecking portion was performed with multiple spotters and with the utmost care by our most senior operators. This project truly highlights the coordination and planning that have been instrumental in our continued growth.
