Job Requirements
King Springs Elementary is a typical K-12 project that we perform every summer. These projects always feature tight schedules, long work days, and lots of trades stacked on top of one another. This one was no exception. We were tasked with the demolition of the former King Springs Elementary in 24 working days. Like most of the schools built in the 1950's/1960's there was some asbestos abatement that needed to be performed prior to demolition. The demolition was further complicated by an unseasonably wet start to summer that necessitated us utilizing an adjacent school driveway for load out. We utilized 100YD trailers to expedite the haul off of C&D and keep the project ahead of schedule. The ability to use outside resources and adjust our game plan to meet project challenges in real time is something we pride ourselves on bringing to all our clients projects. We completed the project ahead of schedule and on budget for a demanding client with zero injuries or incidents.
